REDOWNLOADING APPS ALREADY PAID FOR. DUE TO GETTING REPLACEMENT PHONE. HELP

I just got my iPhone4 32g. It was defective so I took it back to Verizon. They gave me a new replacement phone, but I had already downloaded a handfull of apps and songs... They told me to come to the Apple website to redownload, that I wouldnt have to pay for them again... HOW DO I DO THIS??? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Go to the App store log in +using the same user id as when you bought them+ , find the apps, click the buy button. You'll be told that you've already purchased them and asked whether you want to download again. Say yes.

This is much easier to do in iTunes than from the phone. And you get backups of your apps in case the phone has to be replaced. There are many cases here of people who lost their data because they didn't use iTunes to back it up.
