Combining records in Appleworks DB 6

I run a database that needs to be updated as individual students (= individual records) accumulate more results (=more field entries). Is there a way to combine records or add to existing database records in Appleworks databases from text file lists.

Thanks folks

Hello

If you are searching for "buit-in" features, they are not available in AW6.
A tip should be :
open the database
show useful records
select all
copy
paste in a spreadsheet
create column for new fields
paste complementary values (if they are organized as TAb separated ones

Save the spreadsheet as a Text file.
From the File menu, open the text file specifying that the "Document Type" MUST be a database.

AppleWorks will create a new base with all your fields.
