Q: Powerpoint on mac, narration cutting off on playback

Seems to be a common problem, just spent a whole lecture recording my prof only to find mere snippets ie 20-50 seconds per slide remained. Anyway to recover actual full length recordings? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
