how to delete printer in snow leopard

I have an old epson R800 printer that I'm replacing. What is the best way to delete this printer.
Do I just go under Library/Printer/Epson and click delete?
Will that remove all the epson files or is there a better way to do this.

mac pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax. Select the printer you want to remove, and click the '-' button at the bottom of the panel.

In addition to J D's recommendation, you can leave the Epson stuff in place or delete it. Also, check in the PPD folder for Epson stuff. Finally, look in the various Application Support and Caches folders for Epson stuff.

Thanks for the replies. I knew that I could go in and start deleting piece meal all the Epson files but I was hoping that there might be an easier way.

JD--if I use the method you've suggested what's the chance that there will still be a bunch of printer files left behind??

There will be; but the OS will ignore them unless you re-add the printer.
