Applescript to Print "Fill entire paper"

Hello,

I'm using applescript to take images that are added to a folder to automatically open in preview and print. The print options will not let me save settings. I'd like to always have the print set to "Fill Entire Paper" instead of "Print Entire Image" is there a way to use applescript to have it automatically choose the option to "Fill Entire Paper" versus "Print Entire Image"? We've tried everything from resizing, printing through photoshop, nothing seems to work. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Are you referring to the Print dialog option to Print to fill paper size? If so, check the option then save your settings via the Presets: dropdown menu. Then have your script use the saved preset instead of the default preset.

when i save the printer preset it won't let me keep the "Print Entire Paper" feature selected.. ?

I have no idea about the Applescript. I assumed you wrote it.

When you save a preset it saves whatever options you have selected. The option of concern is in the Paper Handling of the lower dropdown menu.

when i save the preset.. it won't keep the options selected? i've read some other forums that say mac hasn't fixed this do u know anything about that?

It works fine here. Save with a name of your choice. You then select that preset when printing. You can also select the option to use the last preset used which should use that preset always.

I'm not aware that has ever been a problem. I've never come across it myself.

You mention using AS to set the preset. Do you know how to do that?

I'm trying to find out how to use a print preset in Applescript on 10.6.7. The only things I've found on the internet suggest running a terminal command that changes the preset, but they are talking about 10.4 and it doesn't work in 10.6. I can't find the answer to this anywhere. It seems like it should be rather simple.
