Copy and Paste on iPhone Notes APP

As I was building my shopping list on my Notes App on my iPhone 3GS, I went to copy and past some items from my e-mail APP to my Notes App when I noticed that I CAN'T copy and paste from other text sources to Notes. I think this is an easy fix for the iPhone. Can we please have this iption for notes? Its not too much to ask.

It's already there. I just copied text from a text message and from an email and pasted it into a Note. If the keyboard is not showing in the Notes app, tap the screen to bring it up. Then tap and hold to get the insertion cursor and you will have a paste prompt. You will not get a paste prompt unless the keyboard is showing.
