h'lo all,
I've read a bit about how to take iTunes info and export that info in to a spreadsheet or database. but how about the other way around? that is, take spreadsheet or database info (text) and import that *IN TO* iTunes? is that possible?
many thanks,

I assume it can be done. Get the relevant info into the spreadsheet. Then (assuming you are using Excel), do a "Save As," and make sure the "save as type" is set to XML.

Then in iTunes, use the command File > Library > Import Playlist... and point it to your new XML.

Make sure the fields from the Excel export match what iTunes is expecting on the import. To guide yourself, first export a playlist from iTunes in XML format (File > Library > Export Playlist..., and set the "save as type" to XML) so you can see what is there.
