can't check out from amazon or Apple Store

I'm encountering a weird problem with Safari where I'm trying to check out with an item in my Shopping Cart, but for example on amazon.com, I choose my address from a list of previous addresses used, then shipping method, but then I'm taken to the address selection again. I had a similar problem with the online Apple Store. Firefox 3 doesn't have this problem.

I reset Safari, but it didn't help.

Anyone else?

MacBook Pro (mid-2010) core i5 2.4 GHz / 4GB / 500GB 7200rpm, Mac OS X (10.6.6), iPhone 3GS 16GB (iOS 4.1)

Hi,

From your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab. Click: Show Cookies.

Delete all Amazon cookies.

Now select the Autofil tab. Click the Edit button next to: Other forms. Delete all Amazon urls.

Now empty the Safari cache, either from the menu bar; Safari / Empty Cache or Command + Option + E on your keyboard.

Quit Safari (Command + Q) then relaunch Safari.

Try Amazon.

For the online Apple store. Launch iTunes. From the menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab. Click: Reset warnings and reset cache. From the menu bar click Store / Sign Out.

I don't use autofill, and "reset safari" does all that you state and more. No go 😟
