Fender G-Dec to garageband with MIDI

I have a Fender G-Dec amp and im trying to connect it to garageband to record. Is it possible? when i connect the MIDI to USB cable it recognizes it and say 1 MIDI recognized. If it cannot be done then how can i connect my electric guitar to garageband?

Hi Matthias,

I tried the same but have a problem with the very low input level. It's about 1/3 of maximum level. How did you solve tht issue? Asked that question several times in the Fender forum but their answer was that I need to add effects like timbre etc. I don't want to do that. I'm only like to have e.g. Blackface clean without any FX.

What are you using and how is your input level?
