Mar 6, 2011 6:34 PM in response to Justinmgby MacAlohaDad,I'm just ran into this problem with my ipad and keynote. It does not have the loop feature. This is not a technical issue. I think its just Apple deciding that for 9.99 you don't get a feature that is business critical. Someone is figuring out how much you'd pay for that feature and I'm sure they'll offer it later for 99.99 or some crazy price like that. -
Mar 6, 2011 9:33 PM in response to Justinmgby MindfulbyDesign,Hi guys,
I'm not an expert on how KeyNote works on the ipad, but key note does let you loop video. I only assume this translates into ipad.
Have you gone to the inspector, then clicked on the quick time icon. There's an option there to loop the video.
Hope that helps -
Nov 28, 2011 9:52 AM in response to MindfulbyDesignby jakers19,Hey all, I found a solution to this issue.
Going off of what MindfulbyDesign mentioned, I:
1) made sure that the video I needed to loop was in the correct format to be shown on the iPad
2) Opened up Keynote (iWork '11) on my Mac
3) Place the video on the slide and used the QT tab in the inspector to turn Repeat to "Loop"
4) Saved the file
5) Dragged the file into iTunes>Apps>Keynote
6) on the iPad, went to Keynote
7) Hit the + to add the Presentation (Copy from iTunes)
8) opened up the file and found that the Looping feature transfered over!

1. select the video
2. click the Format paint brush on right side
3. select Movie tab
4. here you'll see all the movie options, you can even make a movie loop back and forth which is pretty cool
