HD compression profiles keep switching to variable (VBR) from CBR

Trying to encode an HD file with CBR (Constant Bit Rate) using Compressor, but somehow the profile keeps switching back to VBR (Variable Bit Rate).

Is there any way to accomplish this with Compressor or do I need other software for this?

MacBook Pro 2.53 Ghz, Mac OS X (10.6.1)
