Sep 17, 2013 9:57 AM in response to Csound1by Airbum88,I know Macbook Pro's don't run on IOS.
I used that link as a reference to show how to call Apple.

Sep 17, 2013 10:14 AM in response to Airbum88by Csound1,Where is the phone number, why don't you post it here rather than making others search the thread for it?

Sep 17, 2013 10:40 AM in response to Csound1by Airbum88,I am not sure if there is a dedicated support line for Macbook Pros but they can try calling 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753)

Sep 17, 2013 11:13 AM in response to OGELTHORPEby Chris Dolan,Well, for a fee you can talk to a live person if you call that number! I am still sitting here, either sell and go PC or wait for a recall. I am not paying for a "repair" (quotes because it clearly doesn't fix it) Apple should be fixing at no charge.

Sep 17, 2013 11:16 AM in response to Chris Dolanby Airbum88,Don't pay the fee to talk to somebody. You are not asking for technical support. We already know what the problem is. Our GPU is messed up and our logic boards need to be replaced. Technical support can't help us. You can try talking to a Product Specialist like some of those people with broken iPods in the link I posted a few posts back.

Sep 21, 2013 12:44 PM in response to Airbum88by Kristian_F,As I told 200 messages ago, only thing why MacBook Pro run hot is because of the malfunctionin in the facility.
I resolved that and I'm running cool MBP.
Read post at the start.

Sep 22, 2013 4:06 PM in response to Kristian_Fby drdooher,Oh, so perhaps its that they just needed to update the firmware (pre-Lion). Or that you just need to pull the thing open and re-apply the thermal paste. I hate to be sarcastic, but I still have a 5 year old and 15 year old Dell Laptop that are running just fine. Newest versions weren't built so well, so I decided to try the mac. I could have bought a high end desktop for this price and bought a throw away laptop if I thought it was just going to die.
I moved the driver, and that seemed to help - for about a week. Now it goes to white screen on start up. Looks like I'll have to try my luck with the Genius Bar....

Sep 22, 2013 7:15 PM in response to Rensoomby nextopia,Same problem here. From Sweden.
Macbook pro 15 early 2011
2,2 GHz Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
I can still boot. Running in save mood now. If apple doesent fix this for zero cost there will be no more apple products. Where is the form I can fill in. Keep on fighting!
