I upgraded and lost my office 2008 HELP!!!!!

So i bought my macbook pro 13 last week. Then they say a new one came out, so i researched on here and everyone said if it is within 14 days to return it and get the new one. So today I did and forgot that I had installed office 2008. So when i left I didnt have it switched over. So now 2 hours later I remember and call the apple store, only for them to say they cant help me. Is that true, can nothing be done for a product key that was used for 8 days? Can I not get that back? Any help would be great. I am new to mac computers. Thanks!User uploaded file

Hello,

This forum is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, a software package for Windows designed to update Apple products that run on Windows, and not related to Microsoft Office. Therefore you will need to ask Microsoft or post Office related questions on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac products.

Good luck..
