Backup error - i cant backup my iPhone

Dears,

i have iPhone 3G with iOS 4.1
when i try to backup it, i get the bellow error message:

*"+iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer+"*

i read in the web some solutions: delete previous backup, delete recent photos and reinstall itunes.

i did all of them, but it doesn't work!

could anyone help me plz?

Did you fully remove Itunes?

Also try moving the backup folder to the computer then backing up the device.

Welcome to the discussions,
did you already make sure that the iphone backup folder is empty after you deleted the backups in the list in iTunes/Settings/Devices? It is located here:

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

Dear CJS85,

thanks for ur response.

i tried to remove it totaly, i restore my macbook also as a new device without "Time Machine", and the problem still occures.

any other suggestions plz?

yes, i did and the problem still 😟

i delete the whole previous backups by mistake, and now i dount have any backup for my iPhone.

i hope i find some way to backup it.

Are you using Time Machine to backup your Mac? If yes, try to restore the backup folder mentioned above.
Also try to log in as a new Mac user, make sure that autosync is disabled in iTunes/settings/devices, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
If this works, there might be a problem with your iTunes settings on your normal account.
