Mail refuses to delete Exhange mail & other odd behavior

When I select a message on the Exchange server and try to delete it, I get the following error message: "The message "XX" could not be moved to the mailbox "Trash-Exchange" An error occurred while moving messages to mailbox "Trash–Exchange"

I can delete mobile me email fine, only the Exchange mail is doing this. Also, I'm getting doubles of all Exchange emails.

Anyone else having these problems and know how to fix them?

Which Trash bin in Mail are you using? On my multiple accounts I see a location arrow and clicked on it to show the account individual account Trash can. Have you tried to click+drag the message to the Exchange Trash can?

I get something similar, although the message in question is stuck in "Outbox" in my exchange account. Any way to delete without moving to trash?

I had the same problem. I think somehow the mail got deleted from exchange but not in the Mail program and therefore it can't find the message to move it. I opened up the message and hit the thumbs down mark as junk and it disappeared.
