Geographical address link to AT&T navigator

My previous phone from another manufacturer (also through AT&T) would automatically open AT&T Navigator when a highlighted street address was clicked. The iphone4 opens Google Maps, requiring that I physically type the address in Navigator. Can the mapping program that the iphone links to be changed? Or, can AT&T Navigator be configured to be the "primary" mapping app? Thanks, Mike
