Please help...app store has gone blank

I just updated a few apps that the app store said had new versions....and now when I go into the app store in the top 25 list...the icons if the listed apps are grey boxes with no icons. Top paid works sometimes and featured new is Also affected. What do I do? This thing is too **** pricey and new to break down this easy. Please help

PPC G5, iphone 4, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

I doubt that the problem is your phone. I'm having the exact same issue on my iPhone this evening and so is my wife.

Seems to be an internal issue with the App Store...

For now anyway, go to Settings / General/ Restrictions: turn to Off.

If you need Restrictions/Parental Control, you can try adding them one at a time later, but for now, that solved it for me.

You can also go to Settings/Reset and Reset Home Screen Layout. Others have recommended trying several Reboots if none of these fixes seem, at first, to work.
