can't move messages error...

Somehow in my GoDaddy imap account in Preferences I had the checkbox for storing sent messages on server unchecked for a few months. So mail.app was storing all of my sent messages in a local on my mac mailbox. I just realized the problem and I restored my preference back to storing my sent messages on server and I thought I'd just copy from my local mailbox back into my Sent mailbox which is stored on server. But everytime I try I get the following error:
The IMAP command “APPEND” (to Sent Items) failed with server error: sockio write_msgtimed() failed, rc=4294967295..
I tried moving and copying with the same results. Funny thing is I had something like 840 messages and it did copy around 30 messages but now I'm stuck with the remaining 810 that won't copy. Any advice? Thanks!
