Mar 6, 2011 7:43 AM in response to Robert Tompkinsby David Colville1,The best way is to use an XML Export which will retain all the Annotations.
It's not ideal, but:
- Create a "WriteXML" response that will write to a directory on one of your machines.
- Make a field of type "Boolean" called "Write XML"
- Change the "Asset_Filter" Metadata Group to include the "Write XML" Boolean".
- Create a "Metadata Subscription" where the asset filter "Write XML" is set to "Trigger if Changed", and its response is to run the "Write XML" Output.
This will make lots of XML files, including all your annotations.... from which you can use other tools to print the outputs. -

(And if you want to "not have to do anything Boolean," consider using iPhoto to organize your videos. Final Cut Server is the option for those who want the power of customizability.) -
