I want my iPhone home videos on my iPad - where do I put them in iTunes?

In iTunes I can categorise video as movies, or TV shows. If I want to put my home movies shot on my iPhone onto my iPad, via the Videos app where you'd expect to find it, it needs to go into iTunes and either sit alongside my Hollywood movies, or my TV shows. Neither of these are optimal.

If this just how everyone with an iPad does it? Keeps their home vids of the trip to the beach alongside Die Hard etc?

It will do for now but I was hoping there'd be a better way.

If you shot the videos with your iPhone you should be able to import them directly into iPhoto or Aperture. Once you do that they become part of your photo library, and you can sync them to the photos app.

Under the sync settings for the iPad, if you click on the photos tab, there should be an option that says "include videos". If you check this, it will sync the home-made videos to the photo app.

**I should state that this is how you can sync the videos on an iPhone. I don't actually own an iPad, so I am assuming the sync options are the same.**
