Do controls for the subject features exist? The only adjustment I found, other than volume, is for balance in the "Sound" section of System Preferences.
The main system volume controls are limited, however iTunes has an EQ... with iTunes displayed on your menu bar, go over to Window and select the Equalizer.
Dennis,
Thanks. Based on a bit of experimentation, this affects only music being played in iTunes, right? (I am usually streaming music from a radio station in Safari for my music listening.)
Dave
If you have the exact URL for streaming in Safari (as opposed to using a mini player supplied by the website) you can stream the same radio station in iTunes or QuickTime 7, which also has some bass/treble control.
In both cases, the URL was entered into the "music" library of iTunes, but when I clicked on a URL, didn't play. Not being overly familiar with iTunes, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
If you have a moment, maybe you could try one of these URLs and see if you have better luck? It would be nice to stream radio in iTunes instead of Safari.
