Mine has this to. not quite as bad as some of yours, but all of the MacBook air's have this problem . some worse than others, there is not a lot you can do about it. if you get a replacement you might risk getting one which is worse than yours, so the main thing is to stick with it. every MacBook air has this but in general most people just do not notice it. the MacBook air has a thin gray border around the screen, due to the fact of the black bezel. Reflecting off of the aluminium Basil, the reason that is worse at the bottom is cause of the viewing angle and the back lighting. if you telt your screen toward you, to the point where you can see the shadow at the bottom. look at it closely, you will see it actually a very precise line, reflection of the black line that goes round the out side of the screen. Anyway it annoyed me at first, but after I did a bit of research into it, plus went to my local Apple Store, and saw that all of them have it. and then saw my friends has it. I'm not too bothered about it. actually in a way i quite off like it. Also if you look hard enough, you will find something wrong with every single LCD screen. just accept it and get on with using your MacBook. (i copy this from another page that i postad this on)
