Apple to sell iPad at 5 pm?

I heard that Apple's store will start selling at 5 pm on Friday? Why so late? It is going to be a long line I am afraid. Sigh..

PC, Windows XP Pro, iPhone 4, iPad 1

My local Best Buy says it will be on sale when they open at 10 AM.
