PCMover and iTunes.... read before using PCMover

the following is a chat with PCMover.... I have itunes on my new computer, but cannot use it because of the 32 bit vs 64 bit. I discovered the problem two months after using PCMover....
Ken Hughes: would you like me to put something on apple support stating to not use PCMover for itunes, it does not work and no support is available. I can do that as a courtesy for PCMover. not to defame the product but to prevent people from having this issue.
Chat Support: We have seen some users being able to uninstall Itunes and its components and then reinstall them, however we suggest best not to migrate Itunes if the new PC is win 64
Chat Support: instead install Itunes 64 in the new PC and migrate the settings only
Ken Hughes: I have tried doing the uninstall... I get the message that I need the installer for 64 bit
Ken Hughes: I have not found the messasge/information on PCMover that says to not use PCMover with itunes.
Chat Support: Pcmover does not have buit messages to warn about every program that will not work in the new OS
Ken Hughes: You should ! User uploaded file
Ken Hughes: my suggestion is to display known issues
Chat Support: I will add that suggestion to the suggestiong list the dev team has for PCmover
Ken Hughes: then you can decrease the number of disgruntled users
Ken Hughes: I strongly suggest not using PCMover, better off to not move and discover the errors later
Ken Hughes: Product souds great, just causes unrecoverable errors
Ken Hughes: Great .... I think that all itunes users need to be aware of the issues User uploaded file and be aware that there is no known solution. Once you use PCMover, you options are to undo the move (if you discover it immediately) or to just live with no iTunes on your new computer.
Chat Support: no, second choice is to install Itunes 64 in the new PC then migrate
Ken Hughes: But you must first know that there will be a problemn with itunes from the PCMover software... and if you do not use itunes for two or three months... then you have a major problem. Are there other software that also have problems caused by PCMover?
Chat Support: any program with copy protection, mainly Adobe and Intuit products
Ken Hughes: great to know now, after thwo or three months....
Ken Hughes: My advice is for the buyer to not use PCMover

I had this same issue with PC mover moving files from Windows Vista to Windows 10. Not all the parts were copied across, but enough so that all of the Apple software could not run nor be uninstalled. I contacted PCmover (Laplink) and this is what they sent me:

Thank you for your correspondence. This tool should be able to help uninstslling those 2 programs from windows 10:

You do not need to delete the Itunes folder fro My Music, only use the tool to uninstall itunes.
Sincerely,

Laplink Technical Support

Based on the following recommended order to delete software from Apple, I used the RevoUninstaller to delete all data files and entries in the registry that it found. (This was very easy). After using this software I was able to download iTunes and install it on the new computer.
