Can't open this website ending with aspx

I'm unable to open http://forums.uship.com/Default.aspx.
I thought it was a conflict with Safari and the aspx extension, so I called the site's customer service. The rep said she opened it in Safari, and it loaded fine. When I try, it never finishes loading, doesn't even get started, then finally gives me the +Safari can’t open the page+ message.
I searched Google and these forums, but didn't find an answer. Did find comments saying aspx can't be opened in Safari, but that's not true because this site opens fine http://www.usairways.com/default.aspx.

Are you able to open http://forums.uship.com/Default.aspx?

Macbook Pro 3.06, Mac OS X (10.6.6), Safari 5.0.3

I actually took the time to test that site, and it does open fine.

Have you emptied your Safari cache any time lately?
If not, do that now, OK?

Thanks Carolyn, but that thread doesn't apply. It's related to pdf files, my problem isn't.
The address is just a webpage, not a pdf file. You didn't say if you'd tried opening the uShip address or not.

To ~Bee, yes, my cace is cleaned at least weekly, my cookies daily. If it opens for you, I don't know what could be wrong.

I've only used the site for a couple weeks, and that page has never opened for me. The rest of the site seems to work fine.

No that's how I got to the other link.
Clicking http://forums.uship.com opens (or tries to open) the http://forums.uship.com/Default.aspx page.

Thanks for trying, though. Maybe someone knowledgable in web design will submit an answer, although from what I saw in other threads, there hasn't been a definitive answer yet.

Oregon --

They are the same page.
I've got them side by side on my screen.

The only difference is that down on the bottom of the page, that the change page button on the "Default" one says "Forum Home" as the default choice. The other one says " Forum Jump," there.
When I opened both buttons, they have all the same choices there, as well.

I know they're the same. Entering either address in the address bar leads to the aspx page that won't open.

Oregon -

The page opens for me, Safari 5.0.4, System 10.5.8. I recently had a page (not the same as yours) that would not open for me. I was able to correct the problem by doing a partial reset of Safari (I unchecked a number of the boxes as I wanted to keep some things.) I suspect the thing that did the trick for me was deleting the Cookies, but that is just a guess. Hope this helps.

I am having problem opening usair.com/default.aspx completely but was able to open forums.uship.com/default.aspx. I switched to firefox and it worked OK.

I reseted safari but it didn't solve the problem. I am still looking for solutions. Can anybody help?
