Q: Failure to install Itunes/quicktime due to old Apple Softare Update.

For the past 10 months I have been unable to update ITunes/Quicktime because it could not uninstall previous version.
Following HT1923 mainly, Windows 7-64bit Ultimate SP1 uninstall, Windows Installer Cleanup and a manual clean up of the Registry, I have acomplish such uninstall of everything that is Apple. _*This included the Apple Software Update program*_.
At this point Itunes-64bit runs almost to the end, not showing error messages that I have seen before. But, then, I get a "Unable to complete instalation because an older version of Apple Software Update does not uninstall"
I can not find such other version anywhere. I would venture that there are files in System 32 or SysWOW64, even in Common Files of Program Files, Program Files (x86) or Program Data. But I do not have a clue of which one could they be.
Please, any suggestions?
Cheers & thanks.

Disappointed at the lack of interest for my peculiar predicament. Nevertheless, I invented a procedure and have been able to completely uninstall problematic Apple software. Since it is dangerous and rather involved requiring significant knowledge, I will not described here. But if someone have the same problem and capability, I will be most happy to detail it, yet I will not be taking responsibility, as it is rather dangerous.
