iPhone 4 LED Flash intensity, question!

Community,

Question here, is there a way to control the intensity of the iPhone flash, to make it more dim or more bright. I can't find any literature anywhere discussing this.

The options are Off, Auto, and On. The firing of the flash is a two-stage operation. First, the camera faintly illuminates the scene with what looks like red light in order to determine the amount of light needed. Then the white LED flash fires. There are no other adjustments.
