i-pod mini repair

Is it true that if you send a 4GB mini to be repaired and it needs replacing do they replace it with a 4gb NANO as I have just sent my 3rd ipod 4gb mini off for repair

Sorry, no. They will replace it with a (probably refurbished) mini.

Thanks very much.
I must admit I have been very dissapointed with my i-pod mini. I shouldnt have to pay £140 for something that needs charging every 2 hours. This will be my 3rd i-pod mini in less than a year
