Compressor won't submit!

I have two jobs slated to be compressed. I hit the Submit button in the lower right hand corner. Then a dialog pops up looking for a Name, Cluster, and Priority. All this time, even after those boxes are filled out, the Submit button is not available to be pushed...
Confused,

I just started having the same problem yesterday. I also ran the fix in the above reply and the problem is not fixed. I note that compressor did work yesterday, but then I had a major system problem involving hundred of system extensions that I am now getting the "system extension cannot be used" error on. I have no idea if these are related, or how to fix each problem.

We had this problem and Compressor repair didn't fix it.

We ended up reinstalling Compressor and Qmaster. We used Digital Rebellion's FCS uninstaller to just uninstall the two apps. During the partial reinstall we still had to insert all of the discs for the reinstall to be complete.

It worked but was time consuming. I would suggest saving your settings folder in Compressor and then you can just copy your settings back after the install.

I have been fighting with this topic for months and finally came to a fix with your guys' help! Thank you so much!

My fix was simple, I went into the Settings->Sharing and changed my computer name to something simple "iMac" and in my qMaster settings I made sure that the name matched in both tabs of the settings. I checked my qMaster Administrator to verify that it recognized my computer and it was now in the clusters! (My problem before was that I had a bunch of spaces and apostrophe's in my name and I guess that qmaster didn't like that)

Thank you so much for all the tips!

I had the same problem. Tried compressor repair, tried changing the name of my computer, tried checking clusters in Qmaster and Compressor. Nothing worked. I kept reading and found an article that said you had to have the same version of Compressor , Qmaster and Quicktime. I checked and found my Compressor was version 3.5.3 and my Qmaster was 3.5.2. I downloaded update pro app 2010-2 which had the 3.5.3 version of Qmaster. My compressor is now working great. I am a new bee so I was elated that this worked.
