NO AIRPLAY after update to 4.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS and iPad

Updated all three of my devices and the AppleTv....then when I went to check out the airplay from the camera roll, nothing! then I went to try a video that I had already played through airplay.....nothing....4.3 has deleted all the airplay icons on all three of my devices....am I the only one? I suggest to anyone looking to update to 4.3 they for the airplay features that they wait a day or two to see if this is a widespread issue. I feel as though i will be spending another 3 hours in a couple days updating to 4.3.1 😟

Edit: I did restart all three devices before I posted this and it didn't make a difference.

No Airplay option anywhere before and after updating to iOS4.3. Didn't try rebooting. Does it affect the content and/or the settings of the iPhone in some way? Anyhow: bad issue for Apple that highlighted improvements of AirPlay and...it isn't there.

Hi guys, it seems i'm having a similar problem to you, i've tried reseting all my devices (iPhone 4, Apple TV 2, router)
i have all my updates done, but i have now lost my Airplay icon in the iPod app on my phone, and also i cant seem to find an Airplay icon within Safari.

however the airplay icon is working perfectly in my photos, including camera roll and albums, im not sure what the problem is or how to fix it, any suggestions?

Hi again,
is there anything I miss? Do I have to set something in iTunes to enable AirPlay when the iPhone is connected? Or should it just be there in the camera roll or iPod tracks? Thanks for any support.

You need to access the Camera Roll via the Photos app rather than via the Camera app.

That's what I already read in this forum and what I do: nothing! Shouldn't the Airplay button just be there?

Be sure that your IOS device and the Apple TV are connected to the same network and that you have rebooted everything.

Ok, but just again the simple question: whether I have an ATV or not, should't the AirPlay button just be there?

No, you must have an Apple TV 2 or other AirPlay device on the same local network.

i am having a problem with my airplay on my i phone 4 after i did the 4.3 update. There is no longer an airplay icon anywhere. Before i did the update I could stream music from my i phone to my home stereo using my wireless network(airport extreme and airport express) does anyone have any suggestions?

Same problem here. No airplay icon anywhere. I've rebooted everything and all that. I read in another post that someone had got the icon to show up by changing the language on the iphone from english to french and back to english. I tried it and it worked. I streamed a movie from my camera roll to my ATV but after it was done the icon was gone again. I don't think there's a simple work around. Apple needs to release a patch.

okay so just an update as to where I am (the originator of this post) now 4 days after the update to 4.3....I have found that on top of my Airplay not working from any of my devices (iPad, iPhone 4 and 3GS)my home sharing does not work either! I cant use the remote app on for my mini or the ATV....my devices are not even showing up in the list. Mind you this all worked before the update...so its highly unlikely its any of my hardware or my network...pleas advise if anyone else is having these problems....im calling Apple tonight to see if I can get some answers

I have the same problem, but with the original ATV and an iphone 4. I can still use the iphone as a remote so I know it's not a connectivity problem... I've never used airplay and unlike the ATV2 there is no setting to switch it on or off.

I checked for a software update for my ATV1 but there was none, very confused.

AirPlay doesn't work with Apple TV 1, if that is your issue.
