Anyone know what this means?

This morning I got up early to find my iMac on. I always leave it in the sleep mode. I looked in the system log file and I found these lines of text. I have no idea what they mean so I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me. I have the latest Snow Leopard updates, just updated Safari and Java, and installed the new IOS for my iPhone and iPad. What does "Goodnight, Gracie" mean?

Also is the automatically start after power failure checked?

I have seen reports of Macs waking from sleep if the power company has a slight power interruption. In one case, the power company was doing some switching operations every night at the same time, and this caused a very slight power glitch that woke up the guys Mac. He solved his problem by attaching an uninterruptable battery backup power supply (UPS).

It could very well be that if you ipad is synced to your imac for airplay that when you initiated it (as you mentioned) the mac woke from sleep.

And, on second thought, I am not sure that turning (unchecking) the wake for network access would hinder its functionality.

Try it again with you ipad and note the results in your system log at the time you do it.

This has been coming up in my logs for a long time now. It's pretty creepy and I've been wondering about it, but I've got all kinds of other Apple problems (iphone and MacBookPro) that I still (or they) have yet to figure out. I don't think it has anything to do with sleep mode, or what state the machine is in etc...as it happens everyday, regardless. Or every night I guess?! I am still running Lion btw, haven't updated to Mavericks. But as Paul said, he had updated everything to current and was still seeing messages to Gracie. Is this an intrusion/threat/nearby user running something possibly? Sorry, I'm no IT, obv, but it doesn't take programming knowledge to know that this is quite odd. Not sure what watchdog is or what to do w/the screen shot provided by Esteban.
