*FIXED: Had to download the file and restore manually.*

Why does iTunes tell me 4.2 is the latest for my iPad? My iPod touch 4G and iPhone 3GS updated to 4.3.

I want my physical orientation lock back!

You do not need to do a restore of your iPad in this case, it is still possible to do an upgrade instead. Download the update file and then go to iTunes, select your iPad from the DEVICES list on the right, and then while holding down the "option" key on your keyboard, click the "Check for Updates" button. You will then be prompted to locate and select the update file you downloaded.

Your iPad will then be updated to iOS 4.3 without having to re-sync apps, picture, music, etc.
