Sep 21, 2012 7:27 AM in response to Go for Joyby papaya2999,Hello Go for Joy and Apple community,
Is there anyone out there who would be willing to look at my document? I still can't get it to print without borders - whether in Word or PDF.
Thanks so much.

Sep 26, 2012 7:09 AM in response to Go for Joyby i420mp,Thank you! Like somebody mentioned earlier, you did save about 5 minutes of my life! But, seriously, this has been bugging me for quite a while, and I have been getting around it by adjusting the borders on all sides, but never getting that 'professional booklet' feel..
A lot of people would have just kept this to themselves, but you didn't! Thanks a million for sharing!!!!

Oct 15, 2012 4:17 AM in response to Go for Joyby Maszek,If found out that beyond these necessary settings, there still seems to be a bug in printing to PDF in Word for Mac. I work on a Mac Mountain Lion and have MsOffice 2011 installed.
When I print to PDF, it will trim my margins on all sides by about 5 mm. Hoewever, when I use the print menu to open a "PDF in Preview", it gets the margins right. The disadvantage is that the print menu will reproduce each page in a separate document.
Next I have to save each page to a pdf (I number the document names according to the page numbers) and then join them using PDFsam, a free utility you can get online if you look for it. This method will be cumbersome if you have over 5 pages to print in PDF.
This is the only way I managed to save my margins.

Oct 15, 2012 5:47 PM in response to Maszekby TheFoodAnalyst,Hi Maszek,
Before you print using your preferred method, just "select all" (in the Edit menu). That will ensure you have one document and not many single pages.
I posted this little trick somewhere near the beginning of this discussion!
