iPad 1 screen dimensions vs. iPad 2 - Exactly the same?

I know the bezel has been changed. But is the actual glass /screen dimensions on the iPad 2 the same as iPad 1? I only ask because I am getting my iPad 2 in store today and have a spare iPad 1 screen protector I'd like to use until the Apple protector I ordered online arrives. Yes, I know if it fits it will cover the camera.

Several reviews say it appears to be exactly the same screen.

If the screen protector you had ONLY covered the visible screen on the iPad 1 (9.7" diagonal). If it covered the entire iPad I think you may have a problem, but you can just wait until you get it and see. I'm assuming you do realize if it covers the camera it will distort the image?
