Can't connect to WiFi network with a WEP3 password

i have trouble connecting my ipod touch 3G to my Wifi hat home. we are using a WEP3 key, but i can't find a way to tell my ipod to use that.
i guess it is autimaticall yon WEP1 - is there any way to change it?

iPod touch 3G, Windows 7

No, there is no way to change it. Why not move to key 1?

Or better, scrap WEP (which is easily cracked) and move to WPA or WPA2?

Suggest to apple to support WEP3 for iOS devices. In my house I control wireless setting, because my parents don't know how, but really check with your dad and tell him how much this messes up your iPod experience.

However, I doubt that Apple (or any other manufacturer) will do much on WEP; it is easily cracked by hackers (in minutes) and has been deprecated by the standards group since 2004. Move to WPA2.
