Significant light leakage, few light botches on sides/corners - defective?

Actually I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but thought I'd share my experience here. Very disappointing, but certainly completely usable until I can exchange.

Hoping it's one of those strange manufacturing things where it "needs to settle," but I doubt it.

Note that I have an iPad 1 also, and it definitely doesn't have this problem.

Same problem -- waited in line an hour at best buy and came home with this:

What a joke. I'm never buying apple products again. This is RIDICULOUS.

I can just see the song and dance I'm going to have to go through at best buy when I try to return this too -- yes, it's barely noticable except in dark rooms, and with black on the screen -- but this is NOT how a 700$ product should work. This is complete ********.

That's the problem though -- supply. Every place around here is sold out, there were hundreds of people in line at all locations that stocked this. Getting a replacement unit is going to take WEEKS. And to top it off, left work early just so I could stand in line and get a defective unit. This is unacceptable. As you can see from the pic there is significant light leakage on the left side and bottom of the screen. If anyone else out there has this problem -- just FYI, I got the white AT&T version, 16GB. I wonder if it's because of the white bezel?

I have the same problem with light leakage on my black iPad 2 Verizon version. There is a significant amount leaking from the bottom of my screen. Spend 729 + tax and you get this. I'm so mad I could punch myself in the face ... twice! Oh well, looks like some of us drew the short straw. I guess the iPad 2 isn't as flawless as some in the media have reported.

Everyone: Please, if you have time, can you take a picture like I did so we can all compare?
Thanks! Take the pic with the flash off under dark lighting and make sure something dark is on the screen.
Also can you please list the model iPad 2 you bought (ex: mine is the AT&T white 16GB).
Thanks!

If you have this problem too, just some advice -- I think it's logical to wait a few days and see if it goes away or not. I would say 3 days is enough -- to see if it really is the orange glue stuff evaporating or whatever, or it really is light leakage and a defective unit.
