Music not showing up on Ipod

All of my music shows up under the music tab in my device on itunes, but when I click the music tab on my ipod itself, it says I have no music. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it?

I know my music isn't deleted, because I can plug my ipod into someone elses computer and my songs will still show up and play under my device on their itunes.

Why won't they show up on my ipod?

I am also having the same issue. My ipod touch 4th gen is running 4.3. I have tried restoring numerous times to no affect.

I believe the music database on the iPod Touch may either be corrupt or the location the database points to may be incorrect. I suggest doing a complete restore to completely wipe out any of the database errors. *Warning: you will lose all app data, etc.*

I actually have the same trouble and tried to manually fix the problem by forcing my iPod Touch to recompile its database (requires Linux, or another method, to get into the iPod's iTunes folder), but I only managed to get my "Purchased" music to show up and nothing more. I wish I had a Mac because this would be a little easier to determine exactly what's wrong with the database files.

To all of you guys who has this problem, just update your iTunes to the recent version then sync your "iDevice".

This works for me. Aside from my music files, my movie files doesn't show up also (I'm not sure with the pics, coz I don't have photos saved on my device). I almost tried to restore my device, but luckily I followed mohsrocks7's link and It worked for me.
