Viber in Japan Crisis

Just wanted to let you know that Viber was amazing during the Earthquake yesterday....phone lines were/still down, and only iPhone users are able to chat over 3G with Viber! You guys need to post how useful it was in such a major disaster on the Apple page!

Hello,

I'm trying to call a friend in Japan who is using fiber as well. How does she have to enter my American number? With the country code in her address book? Can anyone tell me the optimal settings so I can speak to her. Thank you so much

@Earnyoursleep - when you call a different country using Viber, you should dial the number in its full format. For example in order to call the USA from Japan, this is how the number should be saved/dialed: +1-xxx-xxx-xxxx
