Unusual CPU Temperature

Hi,

I have a 2010 late model Macbook Pro 15" 2,6 GHz model.
Recently I got it repaired after a minor accident which led to
the screen and topcase being replaced.

After I got it back everything was working perfectly.
But after a while, it started to heat up.
Nothing out of the ordinary at first, nothing a slight fan increase wouldn't fix.
But now, i almost always have to put the fans up only to mentain the temperature
of going up to 80C.

Even after storing it in a cold space, i mean that the computer was cold to touch
in the morning. Even though, the computer's parts vere down to 20C, but the CPU
kept heating up. Now i'm worried somethings wrong here.
And can excessive fanning damage the CPU itself?
Also; Can an almost full HDD affect the computer temp?

By regular use I almost always run photoshop and all other adobe apps.
It has worked beautifully, but now all of a sudden. A temp increase.
I don't understand why it is, i use iStat Menu and my CPU cores
aren't working very hard, but they are up in 50-80C?

No, i don't keep it in my lap, i keep it on a desk.

Any suggestions?
