Q: mac keeper?

Hi have a 2010 mac mini 320gb and as i was surfing the web a website called mac keeper said my mac might be at risk. after seeing the website 10 times then i read what they had to say, it said that it would bring a boost to the mac by antivirus and my mac was very slow at that time so i just installed the app. do you think mac keeper is a good app? thanks in advance.

It's ".3FAD0F65-FC6E-4889-B975-B96CBF807B78". I found it strange that DetectX couldn't lead me straight to the file as it did with the other leftovers.

A period in front of any file name makes it invisible, so I suspect that DetectX led you to the directory but when you got there the file could not be seen.

I've read elsewhere that it is definitely part of the MacKeeper installation, though it's probably small and inert, so would not cause any problems or take up significant space.
