IBooks frozen

IBooks frozen

Got my new iPad2 yesterday!! Downloaded iBooks and started to look at the iBooks free books. Then it froze. When I open it it will complain if WiFi isn't on, but when on it is frozen on the last online page I went to and will not allow any taps or scrolling to occur ( can't go back to book shelf either). What do I need to do to unfreeze iBooks? Re-install iBooks from the App store? Thanks.

I have a similar problem: if I press a book it highlights but does not open - ever. Apple: What gives? This started happening since the latest ibooks sw update.

John,

It has seemed to clear up for me. I think what did it was "restarting" the iPod. But there is still the question of why it happened in the first place.
