Calculator missing in iPad 2 ?

Is it mine or is the calculator app missing??? I didn't own the original iPad so don't know if it comes with it or not.

Macbook Pro 15" 2.53, 4G, 250G, Mac OS X (10.6.6), iPad 2, iPhone 4, Apple TV 2G.

As the developer I am biased but I suggest taking a look at Perpenso Calc. It is five calculators in one: scientific, statistics, business, hex and bill/tip. With its support for RPN, fractions, complex numbers and many other features it is comparable to traditional handheld calculators. iPad specific functionality includes customizable display lines.

A related iPhone-only app, Perpenso Calc 4, is a lite app and is upgradable to full via In-App Purchase.

Hi,

I want to introduce a calculator written by me.

Calculator for Fun

Calculator for Fun Lite

It would be a great calculator if you have children.

Both of them have:

√ Great math practices for your children

√ Tips Calculator (coming soon in iPhone version.)

√ Calculator

√ Scientific Calculator

√ Statistic Calculator

But the most important thing is the user interface,

I written this calculator for my daughter for her math homework, (first grade student)

Because it's design for my child, I paid a lot of time to simplify the interface.

You can find the interface is very user friendly to use and do not need to keep too much thing in your mind.

If you are looking for a friendly and smart Calculator, please make a try of this one, thank you~~

I assume your car came standard with tires and seats? You're comparing apples to Chevys.

My iphone has a great calculator. Came with a bunch of other free (and mostly useless) apps. My MBP came with a bunch of great, free, apps. The ipad has (as standard equipment) a bunch of useless apps. I'm pretty sure more people are in need of a calculator than a free app to check their stocks.

Instead, I can waste time searching through dozens of calculator apps, download a "free" app that displays ads, or pay for some really badly designed programs. Seems really stupid, when the company already makes a decent piece of software that could be added to the ipad at little to no cost.

But then, I'm not a blind devotee to the Apple tribe, I just use it (depending on software availability).

Ha ha! You're joking, right? The iPhone calculator is one of the lamest calculators I have seen in years. The first thing I did when I got my iPhone 8 years ago was to get a REAL calculator app for it (one of the HP-12C emulators). There's a constant stream of posts about how the Apple calculator makes mistakes. It's true that all of them are user mistakes, but it happens because the calculator does not let you know that you have completed a calculation, so you're tempted to hit "=" again. It also uses algebraic precedence, which is fine for engineers and scientists, but confuses a lot of people. And it has no instructions pointing this out, so most chain calculations come out what appears to be wrong.
