iPad 2 Stuck in Restore

So I was trying to restore my iPad 2 that I just got because I wanted to restore it from a backup of my iPhone. During the restore process, in iTunes the status bar reaches almost to the end and on the iPad the status bar reaches about 2/3 of the way across. Then it just sits there forever. I have hard rebooted it from there to try again but it keeps happening.

I have tried to put it in DFU mode, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. Any advice is appreciated, I just want it to be functional again! Right now it's stuck in recovery mode and I'm trying to redownload the iPad software and try again.

Now it won't even let me try to restore. It says that my device is not compatible with the build...

Hi,

Help here for an unresponsive iPad.

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281

reaches about 2/3 of the way across.

You may have an app on your iPhone that's not compatible with an iPad. Not all are.

Okay, for anyone having this problem it seems that there must have been an issue on my computer after the previous steps I tried. When I restored on another computer it was able to complete the Restore.
