Here's my nearly complete tracking history. Ordered 64GB Wifi Black iPad May 18. Original ship date June 3, original delivery date June 9. Fed ex still says delivery by June 7, but obviously it's coming today, which I expected, based on the fact that it was in my state yesterday:

Mine took a solid 48hrs from "Prepared for Shipment" to actually shipped. Original delivery date when I ordered it May 16th was June 7th, but I just checked and it's out for delivery today (June 3rd). I'm in Montreal, Canada, and from the day it shipped to the day I received it, it took a full 7 days.
The packages seem to hangout in China for a while, but once they reach Alaska, they are at your doorstep fairly quickly.

I ordered on May 3, supposed to ship on May 24 but on May 24 got a message that shipping was delayed. After looking at this thread, I realized that most folks were getting their ipads shipped faster than I was. So I called Apple Support. The day I called (May 30), they told me it was starting to ship, and the next day I had a fedex tracking number. Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe the squeeky wheel gets the oil. If you have not yet done so, call Apple Support.
okay i got an email from apple saying it shipped early this morning at 12:30 AM.. 🙂 now it has been in EPZ, China all day... wherever that is lol.
Mine was on the same flights as yours from Asia to Alaska, then from Alaska to Newark, NJ. I ordered on May 20 after close of business, and was given June 6 as the ship date, with delivery scheduled for June 10. It shipped on May 31 (May 31 on Eastern US, June 1 in Asia), and was delivered this afternoon - 2 weeks after I ordered it and a week before it was supposed to get here.
I ordered a 64GB WiFi only white iPad with no engraving. I've seen a few posts that make me think the engraving slows things down a little.
3g 64gb ordered on may 24 - so far no status change. it's still 'not yet shipped'...
Ordered an engraved 64GB wifi on May 25th. Current status shows prepared for shipment with a ship date of June 9th and expected delivery by June 18th (originally listed June 15th 😟).

Ordered: May 26
Original Ship Date: June 10
Original Delivery Date: June 16
A week later, Delivery date changed to June 15
A day later, it changed to June 17!
Prepared for shipment: June 4
Hoping I receive it sometime this week!
my UPS tracking still says EPZ, China.. and it has been like that for almost 48 hours.. has anybody else experienced this?
Ordered 32gb white wifi on May 27th - ship 6/13 arr 6/17 mine too still says - not yet shipped.
I wonder how come some have their status changed in just a few days. I had no engraving or anything
else ordered.....

still no change - 'not yet shipped'. according to the shipping dates of other orders it should have shipped yesterday. i really wonder in what order they work off the incoming orders... 😕
I'm wondering if certain models ship faster. I ordered 32gb blk wifi, maybe wifi only is more popular.
When I tried to buy from local Apple store and BestBuy they never had the wifi only, just the wifi & 3g
models.

Item shipped June 4th. Currently in transit and should be here by June 9th via FEDEX. Much better 😀.
Hopefully that yours don't take too long at custom deprtmnt.mine took 6 days to release.after a month just I received my iPad.I ordered may 1 n received may 31.every day I checked my email for tracking shipping.but I think it's depends on wether u order for Engraving or not because friend of mine got faster than me even he ordered a week after me n he received within 2 weeks only.
