Apple support in general

I wrote to apple support using the online form, this is what I got back:

This an automated message from the Apple group mailer system.

Your message to support RepairStatus@group.apple.com could not be delivered for the following reason: The group does not have any members.

No members in the support group? WOW....

i'm new 2 this discussion group & Apple stuff ( 20+ yrs on corporate pcs ) & apparently updated my ITouch late .

the battery began draining so fast i was sure i needed a new battery .

Ron's reply 6/26/2010 "Is anyone bothering to read?" was spot on & a wonderful, direct solution .
