Spaces not working right

On both my home and office computers I have Spaces preference checked "When switching to an application, switch to a space with open windows for the application."

It does it on my home iMac, but does not on my office Mac Pro.

I've rebuilt permissions and that does not fix it.

Is there a fix?

Hi,

Open a Finder window on the Mac Pro. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left.

Now open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.

Move the com.apple.systempreferences.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.

Try Spaces. If that helped, move that .plist file to the Trash. If not, move it back to the Preferences folder.

And sometimes just restarting your Mac can help.
