undo but no redo in Garageband for iPad?

I messed up a well thought out track last night by hitting undo one to many times!! As there isn't a redo button does this mean the info is lost completely ?

I just did it again today and it's getting annoying. Anyone know of a workaround for this?

27" i7mac, tv2 and ipad 1

Pro-tip: Tap-and-hold often changes the behavior of buttons/UI elements. Tap-and-hold on Undo gives you Redo.

Yeah possibly, but there does seem to be quite a bit of UI real estate up for grabs. It's seem odd. Especially since Apple are experts in the field of Non Destructive Editing. I can't really see it being a ram or cpu issue either.

I'm sure they will put it in here at some point though.

I agree it doesn't really make sense to allow undo but no redo. No UI space!? 😉
