Streaming from MacBook to Ipad 2 to Apple Tv to home stereo

I'm debating which Ipad 2 model to get. I have over 100 GB's of music on my MacBook Pro Itunes account. I know that I can access that with my Ipad 2, but I'm wondering if I can then stream that through the Apple TV to my speaker system through Airplay.

I know you can go from an Ipad 2 to Apple TV with Airplay, I'm just wondering if I can take it a step farther (basically, transfer it twice).

You would not need to stream from MacBook to iPad to Apple TV.
You can use the iPad iTunes Remote to control the MacBook iTunes to stream to the AppleTV2.
FYI: AirPlay does not work with 1st gen AppleTV.

Perfect. That's what I was hoping. So I realistically don't need to have any music on my Ipad 2 whatsoever if I have my MacBook in the house, and the Apple TV 2 with Airplay?
