Apple Loops and transposing

Any way to do this? I must be missing something as the musical loops can't seem to be transposed meaning they are only in the specified global key, i.e. C maj. I can't see the point of them if transposing isn't possible. They only seem to transpose if you change the global key.

Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

I would also like to know if this is possible, otherwise I think it should be a feature for the next update. I tried changing the song key which transposes the loops, but it does so for all loops in the song. I dont see much point in having loops unless you can change the key of them throughout the song! I think it could easily be added as a new feature.

Also I wanted to know. Is there any way to keep the loop the same speed. As you changes notes the pitch goes up the it also speeds the loop up.

How do you fix that? Or can you?

Global key doesn't allow the loops to be changed on an individual basis...it changes all of them. The question is to find a way to change the loops on an individual basis. If you can change them by using the global key I'd like to know how it is done.

Sledge hammer to crack a nut

Put the loop in three different songs, with three global keys for example c, f, g.

Mail them to yourself

From the mail pick them up with Cubasis ad put them in the media bay

Create a new Cubasis project and import the audio loops in sequence

Use Audiobus to send the loops back to GarageBand

Should work
