Streaming Netflix from an Ipod Touch to a TV

I want to stream Netflix from my iPod touch 2G via composite av cable to a TV and it isn't working. I can stream music videos so I know the av cable is good and I tried changing the video settings. Any suggestions? I already have an Apple TV but I want to be able to stream this to a different TV.

I believe the Netflix app prevents video output from i-devices. Not all apps can output video, and in this case it may be a film distribution requirement that Netflix needs to comply with, silly as that may sound since you can stream Netflix from ATV.

Sorry, but Netflix only supports video out on the iPad, iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G.

Do you think that this the 2g or 3g will get updated to be able to stream Netflix through the A/v outputs
